Some spent grain from the brewing process is delivered to our local bakery where it is used to produce the hearty beer bread served with our entrées. The remainder is donated locally for use as pig feed or for composting.
Growlers are designed to be returned for refilling with beer or homemade sodas and wine bottles are donated to local winemakers.
Aluminum cans are recycled, with the tabs going to the Ronald MacDonald Houses. We also act as a tab collection depot for anyone wishing to drop off tabs for this worthy cause.
Cardboard boxes are broken down and delivered to the landfill which ships them out to be recycled.
Birthdays are special days. Every Friday KSRA conducts a drawing from that week's birthday list for a gift certificate from the Brewery.
Listen in every Friday morning to claim your certificate and then enjoy a meal on us.
We are a proud supporter of Salmon schools, the Booster Club & Bucks for Books.
If you are lacking something to read, please feel free to select a donated book from the shelves in the restaurant. There is no charge.
All we ask is that when you have finished reading that you set the book free in the same spirit: give it to a friend, leave it on a park bench or in a hotel room for someone else’s pleasure.
We believe in paying it forward.
Very often it is the little things we do that make the biggest difference in someone's day, a life, a community, or in our environment.
